The circle of life has been a tradition of the Heart and Lung Transplant games since 1991.
It is considered by many to be the most powerful experience of the games. This is an occasion when all participants, families and supporters are encouraged to gather together to recognise the mutual feelings that all experienced on their transplant journeys the fear, the hope and finally the joy of transplant It allows a time for all to celebrate new life and remember all donors without whom this day would never be possible.
A large circle is made by all present holding hands together circle within circle if necessary then at the sound of a whistle everyone moves into the centre until they all meet in the middle where there are hugs , handshakes and applause.
